Pearson House Restoring Heritage
The restoration of Pearson House is now complete. Pearson house includes a stylish eatery, uniquely celebrating the era of the house in a modern way. The original colonnade has been brought back to life, seamlessly linking the Drawing Room and a Reading Room.
Upstairs has been redesigned to house a luxurious boutique cinema, an art studio, cardio studio, wellbeing suite and billiard room.
Maddington - on the domain
Maddington – the eatery at Pearson House – is more than just a name; it carries a deep connection to the history of this grand building.
In December 1887, Sir Arthur Pearson, the building’s namesake, married Isobel Sarah Bennett, daughter of Canon Frederick Bennett of Maddington, Wiltshire. Her roots have inspired the creation of our eatery - Maddington - on the Domain.
Designed with the neo-Georgian era in mind, we sought to blend colour and whimsy to create a space that is both joyful and uplifting — or as Sir Arthur might say, "to interest, to elevate, and to amuse."
Maddington welcomes its exclusive patrons, their friends, and families.
